Every day you can challenge your son or daughter to use math in daily activities.
- How much change will we get at the store if I pay with 50 reais?
- How many kilometers is it from home to school?
- If we drive 5 days per week, how many kilometers will we have traveled?
- What fraction of the seats in the car are full right now? (ex. 2/5 of the seats are full)
- What fraction of the eggs are left in the carton?
- While cooking, have your son/daughter help you measure the beans, rice, water and salt.
