1.  Complete the "Flight Check" on Raz-kids.
2.  Complete the activity in your Language Notebook.

Prompt:

Write three paragraphs, double-spaced, with five sentences in each paragraph.

Paragraph 1: What kind of student are you?

Paragraph 2: What is the most meaningful life lesson you have ever learned?

Paragraph 3:  Describe a time when you believed you were treated unfairly.  How did you feel?

Review for Math Assessment

Hi everyone:

As I mentioned, we'll be having our final math test on Wednesday December 9th.  Here are the topics that we went over today in class.  I suggest that you go through your old worksheets and make sure you remember how to do everything that we learned how to do.

• 5 minute intervals
• Digital to Analog
2. Multiplication
• Standard Method
• Using Arrays
• Word Problems
3. Division
• Using Arrays
• Long Division
• Word Problems
4. Fractions
• Comparing Fractions using < and >
• Identifying Fractions on the Number Line

Look over the worksheets in your Math Folder and Math Notebook and you will do just fine on the test.  If you find some worksheets that you haven't finished, you should work hard to finish now.

Hello Parents and Students!

Ms. Tatiana Sarmento is one of the most amazing teachers we have.  Today, I watched as she asked question after question, never giving the answers directly, only drawing knowledge from the students' own words.  She uses a wonderful variety of activities: tactile, kinesthetic, and visual, to help students connect to the new ideas and to see old ideas in new ways.  We are lucky to have her and I am lucky to learn from her and teach beside her!
