A video about adjectives that we sang in class.  These videos from the Schoolhouse Rock series have been in use for decades and are an important part of American educational culture.  Fun, educational, and musical, they provide a perfect aid to teaching grammar in the classroom.

Aula de Campo!! Leonardo da Vinci Exhibit!

We spent a wonderful morning at the Leonardo daVinci exhibit.  We were able to what it must have been like to be a visionary inventor and intellectual in the 15th century.  We will be working with the information we received and using the experience as a "ponto de partida" for many activities in the next few weeks.

We recommend that any parents whose children got interested go back to spend a few more hours in the exhibit.  The creativity and inspiration that daVinci had are exactly what our students and children need these days.

Apresentação Gana e Angola em Português

Julia Exner from Year 4B gave a wonderful and informative presentation about Ghana and Angola.  She lived in both of these places and went to school there as well.

We wrapped up the unit on How We Express Ourselves by inviting Year 4A to see the presentation!

A literatura de Cordel tem feito esse papel, de uma forma muito singular e agradavelmente poética. A cada dia os textos são mais valorizados em todo Brasil e no mundo.
