First Day of Classes!

  Today was the first day of classes for both groups in Year 4!

Hoje foi o primero dia de aula para as duas turmas do Year 4!

The Bear Who Wasn't

  Students made an identity map using terms that they thought were part of their identity.  

Os estudantes fizeram um mapa de identidade utilizando palavras e termos relacionados com as suas identidades.

Everyone got to know each other as we shared our identity maps, and we got to know ourselves better as well.  

Todo mundo se conheceu através da mostra e exposição dos nossos mapas, e também cada um se conheceu melhor.

We proofread each other's identity maps and corrected our spelling mistakes, then colored them!

  Revisamos os mapas dos nossos companheiros, corrigimos nossos erros gramaticais e ortográficos, e depois os colorimos!

  Next we watched a story/cartoon video called "The Bear Who Wasn't" based on a fable very popular around the world.  The video is available here if you'd like to watch it!

Em seguida, vimos um filme em desenho animado chamado "The Bear That Wasn't" baseado em uma fábula popular em todo o mundo.  O video está disponível aqui se vocês desejarem ver.

  After the video we came up four different versions of the "moral of the story."  It was a good lesson for all of us to take home for the day as we start the new year.

Após o vídeo, construímos quatro diferentes versões da "moral da historia." (Vejam a foto abaixo).  Foi uma lição muito interessante para levar para casa no começo do ano.
