Dramatizing for Deeper Learning

The Year 4 students presented four fables fables for all three groups of Intermediate and Year 1 students!  They worked all week and brought great costumes.  Throughout the development of the project the students showed how much they knew and learned about the lessons that these stories can teach us.

You should all be very proud of yourselves!

We're now on to the second part of the "Who We Are" unit.  In this half of the unit we will explore the different ethnic groups that formed Brazil.  During this study we will apply our mathematics and science skills to learning about the different plants and agricultural crops that accompanied the movements of the colonial period here in Brazil.

How do these plants influence and shape our lives, and how did they influence and shape the history of Brazil??!

Let's find out!
